Take Valentine, a senior at Central City Value High School, as an example. His journey exemplifies the impact of his overall educational experience at Value Schools. Grateful for the support he received from friends, family, and Value Schools’ educators (especially Mr. Gomes in AP English and Mr. Evans in AP Government), Valentine treasures the focused attention he received in our small school environment.During his sophomore year, Valentine took part in the Back East Scholars Trip (BEST). Begun and facilitated by Grant Cambridge, the BEST experience exposed Valentine to Boston's top institutions, marked his first plane ride and sparked his interest in East Coast colleges and the wide array of educational experiences he might have after high school.
With hard work, Valentine was recently accepted to Dartmouth College, where he plans to study Political Science and become a lawyer. Valentine wants to return to his community and support families facing legal challenges.
