Career Exploration: Investment Management at Capital Group

studentsThe event took place on the 50th floor of Capital Group's downtown Los Angeles office. Students paired with "CAP Buddies" to explore finance, enhance professional skills, and engage in career-focused workshops.

Capital Group professionals shared their career journeys on a panel, while students received valuable resources for scholarships and college applications. During lunch, students practiced their networking skills by engaging with associates and participated in a stock market simulation, discussing investment strategies and market influences.

Exposing our students to diverse professional environments at institutions like Capital Group is incredibly valuable. By stepping into the corporate world and interacting with professionals, our students expand their perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of the skills and knowledge required to succeed in various career paths.

These experiences open our students' eyes to a world of possibilities they might not have known existed. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and access to these professionals, helps our students clarify their own interests and aspirations. Whether they're drawn to a particular field or realize it's not for them, each experience helps shape their future path, inspiring them to pursue their dreams with newfound confidence and a clearer sense of direction.
