Sustained by our Values, our rigorous academic programs challenge our students to be a part of a rich learning environment.  Our teachers make sure that all students focus on their educational futures. We have high expectations for our students and we do everything we can to ensure that our students reach these expectations. 

We know students want options. Central City Value High School provides students more opportunities to explore interests while receiving robust academic support. 

With opportunities in sports, art, dance, Advanced Placement classes, and an Interdisciplinary Honors Program, students find new experiences and discover new strengths. Central City Value can boast:

  • CIF Los Angeles City Section 2016 Boys Basketball Champions  
  • CIF Los Angeles City Section 2017 Boys Cross Country Champions
 
We know parents are our primary partners. Central City Value High School knows parents are the first and primary educators of their children. Highly collaborative relationships between parents and teachers ensure parents remain closely connected to their child’s education. Students experience greater levels of success in university and in life when their most important advocates work together to meet their needs.
 

Strong Academic Results

According to Innovate Public Schools Los Angeles, Central City Value High School is one of only 12% of schools in Los Angeles County that are helping successfully close the gap for low-income Latino students, and has been named one of America’s best high schools by U.S. News and World Report.

University Acceptances

Students who graduate from Central City are prepared to be successful at two- and four-year universities.  Over the past three years nearly 100% of Central City seniors have received their high school diploma, and 96% have gone on to higher education..

We have students accepted to Harvard, Yale, N.Y.U., and U.S.C.  We have students currently attending M.I.T., Brown University, U.C. Berkeley, U.C.L.A., and every university in the U.C. system.
