Special Education and Resources
At Central City Value High School, the Special Education Team works tirelessly to ensure that all students' individualized needs are met. The team is composed of 3 Resource Specialist Teachers who work with different grade-levels across content areas.
The team also collaborates with Designated Instructional Service (DIS) providers. The DIS services that Central City Value High School offers include Speech-Language Therapy, Socio-Emotional Counseling, Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing services, along with Visual Itinerant services. The school has developed a full-inclusion model in which all students, regardless of disability, are able to participate in the general education classroom. This allows all individuals to have the opportunity to graduate with the A-G requirements necessary in order to apply to a four-year university.
Should you have any questions regarding the Special Education Program, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Cruz, the school's Special Education Coordinator.
